are an art critic for a respected arts magazine. Your assignment is to
critique our visit to the
Art Gallery of Ontario and the Modigliani exhibit. Write an article
expressing your analysis of two pieces of artwork. Include images to
enhance your article.
1. Review two paintings. One Modigliani and another of your
choice in the main gallery
2. Your essay should reflect an understanding of the concepts - the
Elements and Principles of Design.
3. Use correct art terminology (line, space, colour, shape etc.) when
discussing and critiquing art
4. Your essay should be typed, Times New Roman font, 12 pt,
double- spaced, 2 - pages in length max.
5. Be sure to proof read your essay for spelling and grammar.
6. Create an interesting cover page using images of the two pieces of
art you are reviewing
7. Your name and class should be on your cover page
